2026 Bay Area Semiconductor Expo Opens In Shenzhen With More Than 1,000 Exhibitors And Over 3,000 New Product Introductions Across The Supply Chain

2026-10-15

n October 14, the 2026 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecology Expo, known as Wanxin Expo, opened at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian. Under the theme 'Chips for the Future, Intelligent Ecosystem,' the exhibition covers nearly 80,000 square meters, up 30 percent year on year. It brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, a 66 percent increase from last year, and hosts over 40 industry forums, more than 30 supply-chain and investment matchmaking sessions, and one-on-one meetings with decision makers from 43 core fab manufacturers.

The expo spans the full semiconductor chain from design, wafer fabrication, packaging and testing to equipment, materials and end applications, and adds an AIE AI infrastructure zone that links chips, computing power and applications. Exhibitors introduced more than 3,000 new products. For example, Founder Microelectronics launched two 1200 V SiC DIP32 power modules at 35 mΩ and 60 mΩ for on-board chargers and AI data-center power supplies; Xinkailai showcased production-ready etch, thin-film, diffusion and optical inspection equipment; and Hwatsing Technology unveiled its medium-current ion implanter iHQ-900E with 95.6 percent domestic-content ratio.

For the domestic electronic-components supply chain, the expo makes the demand outlook clear: AI infrastructure, automotive electronics and industrial power remain sectors drawing capital and capacity, while SiC power devices, high-end packaging, storage testing and passive components all face rising combined demand.
